Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

These terms govern your use of Askmeety. They're written to be readable, not to surprise you. The short version: use it lawfully, don't abuse it, and your subscription keeps things running.

Acceptance

By purchasing a subscription to Askmeety, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not subscribe.

Licence grant

Upon active subscription, Askmeety grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the macOS application on up to two Apple Silicon Mac computers that you own or control.

Subscription and billing

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
  • You will be charged via Dodo Payments using the payment method on file.
  • Prices are shown in USD. Local taxes may apply depending on your country.
  • You may cancel at any time from your billing portal. Access continues until the end of the current period.

Permitted use

  • Use Askmeety for personal or professional meeting capture.
  • You are responsible for complying with applicable consent and recording laws in your jurisdiction.
  • In most regions, at least one-party consent is required to record a conversation. Check your local laws.

Restrictions

  • Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application.
  • Do not sublicence, sell, or transfer your subscription to another person.
  • Do not use Askmeety to record conversations without appropriate consent.

Intellectual property

Askmeety and all related trademarks, designs, and source code are the exclusive property of Askmeety. Your subscription does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property.

Disclaimer of warranties

Askmeety is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with future macOS versions, though we commit to maintaining compatibility with supported Apple Silicon hardware.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Askmeety's liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal proceedings.

Changes

We may update these Terms with 14 days' notice to subscribers. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
